Bi-weekly € 65 //2hrs
Learn the basics of wheel-throwing pottery in a two hour group session on a Sunday. We will center the clay for you so you can dive right into the fun part of pottery! In this session you'll be making your first cups. Clay requires a combination of zen and focus. Find out if pottery is your next big thing, Your finished pieces will be ready to be picked up within 3 weeks after your session. We will make a footring and do a bisq bake for your works and then glaze them with one of our homemade studio glazes.
You do not need to bring anything, although things might get messy a bit but the clay will wash out of your clothes. Long nails are often a bit of a problem and a challenge to work around....clay is really hands-on...!

Immerse yourself in wheelthrowing. Wheelthrowing is about finding a balance between concentration and quietness. Listen to the clay, start a conversation and get inspired. You will get a grip on transforming a ball of mud into a work of art. Possibilities are endless! You are not a total beginner but we will guide you in centering your work, the most gloriously frustrating and hypnotising process there is. When your work is dry you will get help in trimming and finessing your work. Lastly you'll be able to choose from and experiment with multiple homemade glazes on your work. The price is for a 6x voucher which is valid for 3 months. All firings will be charged seperately depending on volume of your works.
