Monthly on sundays A two hours workshop Max. 7 persons Learn the basics of wheel-throwing pottery in a two hour group session close to the beach in the Hague. We will center the clay for you so you can dive right into the fun part of pottery! ! In this session you'll be making your first cups with our guidance. Learning the skill is not an easy craft. Clay requires your presence as does your creativity. A combination of zen and focus. To find out if pottery is your next big thing, come join one of our try-out sessions! Your finished pieces will be ready to be picked up within 3 weeks after your try-out session. After your class we will make a footring and do a bisq bake for your works. Your pieces will then be glazed with a homemade studio glaze after which we will bake it again. You do not need to bring anything, although things might get messy a bit but the clay will wash out of your clothes. Long nails are often a bit of a problem and a challenge to work around....clay is really hands-on...! ~~~ CANCELLATION POLICY We keep numbers of participants low to give you the most attention (max 7). Interest is really high and the classes require quite some work beforehand, therefore we need to be ensured of your presence. We work with the following cancellation policy: until 1 week before the session (7 days): 100% refund or a 3TREES voucher. Less than 7 days to 48 hours beforehand: 50% refund or a 3TREES voucher. 48 hours:: no refund* *If you can't make it last minute, you can offer us a substitute participant.
